PERSONAL CHECKING ACCOUNTS First Iowa State Bank offers three different types of checking accounts. The monthly bank statement on each of these accounts will still include your cancelled checks. Regular Checking Account The minimum balance to open is $100. A below minimum balance fee of $4.00 plus tax will be imposed every statement cycle if the balance in the account falls below $500 any day of the cycle. This fee is waived for individuals 60 years of age of better. Now Account This is our interest bearing checking account. It has a minimum balance to open of $100. A below minimum balance fee of $7.00 plus tax will be imposed every statement cycle if the balance in the account falls below $800 any day of the cycle. We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day. At our discretion, we may change the interest on your account. First Club Checking Account The minimum balance to open this account is $100. A periodic fee of $7.00, $8.00, or $9.00 plus tax, will be charged to this account each statement cycle, depending on the amount of accidental death and dismemberment insurance coverage obtained. This fee will be discounted by $3.50 for customers 55 years. |
